It all started back when Medusa was a normal human being, training to be a courageous warrior. Athena then noticed her and scouted Medusa to work alongside with her. Medusa was enthusiastic and trained more by day. As time passed, Medusa suddenly saw Poseidon in Athena's temple. She was seduced by Poseidon thinking she was better than Athena. Athena heard all their conversations and cursed Medusa and her sister. More time passed, it was the King's birthday and requested Medusa's head as his gift. Perseus as a Greek hero promised to be back with Medusa's head and ventured. Perseus who completed his mission got back with Medusa's head but suddenly turned the king into a stone. Medusa then wanted to reward Athena and worked alongside her as her mighty shield. |
